New design - spring clean with fresh colors
For a long time I was looking for a new, modern, but also functional design to present my plant photography.
After testing different designs, I found a good solution with some fresh colors where my plant images can feel at home.
Even this newsletter you are reading now is having the new design.
After cleaning up nearly every page, I also decided to give every gallery a Lightbox effect.
The Lightbox gives the images a larger view without leaving the current page. While pressing on a photo, the image enlarges and the background dims dark and lets it stand alone (see sample image below). By pressing the arrow key or using the buttons "next" or "previous" you can view all images in a gallery without leaving the page.
New plant images and new families
Since my last plant update in June 2010, I have added some new plants and new families. The updated index and an image overview you can download from here:

In total there are 62 different galleries (families, orders, local collections) and 600 different plants online.

Photo Store - how to order copies of my images
Some of my most recent photographs I uploaded to the server for instant purchase. For those who like to use paypal, you can instantly buy the images in their highest resolution. Next to the images you will find all the details about the size and resolution for high quality prints.
To order any other plant images, please use the contact form.
Supporting AIDS orphans - report of our donation project in South Africa
On our recent visit to South Africa in February this year, we were able to visit the Lidgetton Community and the people involved in the project. Thanks to the help of all our donators, me and my wife were able to raise (in 2010) and donate about 1000 € to the project. Thank you for your support to a very valuable cause.
